'There's Nothing Bolder Than Being Yourself' Says Doritos In Unveiling Rainbow Chips

Doritos on Thursday unveiled rainbow-colored corn chips in partnership with the It Gets Better Project, a nonprofit group that gives hope to LGBT youth.

The "Doritos Rainbow" bags, according to the Associated Press, are inspired by the LGBT pride flag and are available to those who make a minimum donation of $10 to the nonprofit. Doritos says 100 percent of the proceeds will go to the It Gets Better Project.

"We are honored to partner with the It Gets Better Project to create our boldest chip yet," the company said online. "Each bag brings rainbow-colored chips inside and an inspiring quote on the outside."

The Its Get Better Project was created by Dan Savage, according to the nonprofit's website, "to inspire hope for young people facing harassment."

The chips will be available while supplies last, the company indicated.
