The Hollywood Museum Adds New Lineup Of Showbiz Memorabilia From Today's Hottest Shows, Film

HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — The Hollywood Museum has just opened an exhibit showcasing memorabilia from today's hottest films and TV shows.

The "Celebration of Entertainment Awards" display features costumes, props, star cars, posters and photographs from shows such as "Modern Family," "Homeland," "Mad Men" and "Nurse Jackie."

The museum houses 10,000 treasures spanning 100 years of showbiz history. From Marilyn Monroe's costumes to  Hannibal Lector's jail cell set from "Silence of the Lambs," this museum gives you an inside look into how history was made. The site is also home to Max Factor's world-famous makeup rooms where Marilyn Monroe became a blonde and Lucille Ball first donned her famous red hair.
