'The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess' To Make Its Debut Wednesday At Center Theatre Group

STUDIO CITY (KCAL9) — Alvin Crawford, a performer in the Tony Award-winning musical "The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess" stopped by KCAL9 Tuesday to tell viewers about its debut!

The musical is about a woman named Bess who struggles to break free from her scandalous past, and the only one who can rescue her is the courageous Porgy.

"The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess" will make its debut at the Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre Wednesday at 8 p.m. and continue through June 1.
