The Broad Announces New Advance Ticket Schedule

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The Broad, Los Angeles' newest museum that has been routinely drawing long standby lines, announced plans Tuesday to begin issuing tickets on a schedule to make it easier to plan a visit.

The Broad has regularly booked up months in advance since it opened in September. Starting May 1, the museum will release online advance admission tickets on the first of each month for the following month. General admission tickets to the museum are free.

According to the new schedule, for a June visit, tickets will be reserved on May 1, and tickets for a July visit will be released for reservation on June 1. The museum will continue to maintain a standby line for same-day access every day, except Mondays, when the museum is closed.

Tickets to The Broad are fully booked through the end of May.

The Broad is a $140 million museum built to hold some of the greatest pop-art works opened across the street from the city's Museum of Contemporary Art and next door to the Walt Disney Concert Hall.
