Teen Shot To Death In Pacoima

PACOIMA (CBSLA.com)  —   Police in Pacoima responded to a shots fired call Saturday night and found a 16-year-old shot to death.

The shooting occurred in the 11900 block of Sproule Avenue, police said.

The deceased was found in the passenger seat of a Ford-150 suffering from a gunshot wound.

The male teen was transported to the hospital in critical condition but succumbed shortly after arrival.

Investigators said the teen and driver were traveling west on Eustace Street when they were fired upon by an unknown suspect or suspects.

The driver noticed his passenger was hit and pulled over on Sproule and called 911.

The suspect's vehicle was a light or dark colored Nissan Altima. The shooting may be gang related.
