Teen Arrested On Suspicion Of Drunk Driving, Hit-And-Run

SAN JACINTO (CBSLA.com) — Police have arrested a man on suspicion of drunken driving and hit-and-run after he allegedly fled the scene of a crash in San Jacinto Sunday.

Joseph Mario Rodriguez, 18, is accused of crashing his vehicle into two parked cars on northbound Santa Fe Avenue and Tenth Street at approximately 6:15 a.m.

Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Craig McDonald told City News Service Rodriguez was tracked down by deputies Seventh Street after his car stalled.

McDonald also said people were hurt in the crash. Details surrounding their injuries were not immediately known.
