Ted Cruz Makes Southern California Campaign Swing

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Texas Senator and Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz will be in Southern California Wednesday for an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and to make an appearance at a luncheon in Newport Beach.

Besides his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel's show and his luncheon at Newport Beach's Pacific Club, where tickets are reportedly $1,000 a piece, Cruz is also scheduled to make several radio appearances.

Cruz's visit to Southern California comes one day after he unveiled what he called his "Jobs, Freedom, Security Plan" for restoring jobs, economic growth and opportunity, protecting constitutional freedoms, and keeping Americans safe from the threat of Islamic terrorism.
