Several USPS Processing Centers Extend Service Hours To Accommodate Tax Filers

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Several USPS processing centers will extending their hours Monday to accommodate customers who still need to file their tax returns.

State and federal tax filers have until midnight to file their returns.

The following centers will be collecting mail until 9 p.m.:

— Santa Clarita Processing and Distribution Center, 28201 Franklin Parkway

— Industry Processing and Distribution Center, 15421 Gale Avenue

The following centers will be collecting mail until Midnight:

— Los Angeles Processing and Distribution Center, 7001 S. Central Avenue

— Santa Ana Processing and Distribution Center, 3101 W. Sunflower Avenue

— San Bernardino Processing and Distribution Center, 1900 W. Redlands Boulevard

Tax Day falls later than usual this year because the District of Columbia, which houses the Internal Revenue Service, is celebrating Emancipation Day.

All other mail collection boxes and post offices will be collecting mail during their regular service hours.
