Syed Farook's Sister On San Bernardino Mass Killing: 'That's Not Islam. Islam Condemns Killing'

SAN BERNARDINO (CBSLA.com) — The sister of the man suspected of carrying out a mass shooting in San Bernardino spoke on Thursday.

"Do you believe the actions of your brother and your sister-in-law give Islam a bad name," David Begnaud of CBS News asked Saira Khan, Syed Farook's sister.

"Yes, of course," she said. "I believe that, you know, that's not Islam. Islam condemns killing or hurting of anybody."

In all, 14 people were killed in Wednesday's massacre at the Inland Regional Center in the 1300 block of S. Waterman Avenue. Twenty-two people were reported injured.
