Armed Man Escapes From Barricade Situation In Winnetka
WINNETKA (CBSLA.com) — SWAT team members were dealing with a barricade situation Friday outside of a home in Winnetka.
According to police, an armed man holed himself up inside of a stranger's home, located near Oso Avenue and Leadwell Street, just before 11 p.m. Thursday.
Shortly before 6 a.m., crews fired tear gas and entered the home but found the suspect had escaped.

A preliminary investigation revealed the suspect had been squatting in the home with his girlfriend prior to the incident.
It remains unclear how many people live at the residence.
No injuries or evacuations were reported.
