SUV Plows Into Costa Mesa Home; 1 In Vehicle Injured

COSTA MESA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities have responded to Costa Mesa after a vehicle plowed through a wall and into the side of a home.

The crash on Amberleaf near Mesa Verde Drive was reported before 8 p.m. on Monday.

The truck reportedly went through a wall, a backyard, and into the home.

The cause of the collision was not immediately known.

One person inside the SUV was injured and transported to a hospital.

No one inside the home was injured, however.

Firefighters were working to remove the SUV from the scene.
