SUV Crashes Through Wall, Overturns In Santa Fe Springs

SANTA FE SPRINGS (CBSLA.com) — A sports utility vehicle crashed through a wall and overturned in Santa Fe Springs on Thursday.

The incident happened shortly before 5:30 p.m. in the 12500 block of Carmenita Road.

Witnesses ran to the SUV and held it up while the fire department extricated the driver out of the vehicle.

The victim appeared to be fighting with paramedics as they were rolling him on a gurney to an ambulance, according to Sky2's Kevin Takumi.

Several agencies, including the California Highway Patrol and Santa Fe Springs Fire Department, were on the scene.
