Suspicious Package Prompts Evacuations In Ventura

VENTURA (CBSLA.com) — A suspicious package has prompted evacuations and street closures in Ventura.

A bomb squad was dispatched to the area of Poli Street and Rincon Street after a smoldering package was reported about 5:30 p.m. Monday.

A nearby apartment building was evacuated.
