Suspects Sought In Cell Phone Store Burglaries

SANTA CLARITA (CBSLA.com) — Several suspects were wanted Friday in two different cell phone store burglaries.

The first burglary occurred on Aug. 15 at an AT&T store in the 26400 block of Bouquet Canyon Road in Santa Clarita, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said.

In less than a minute, a group of five men, ages 18 to 22, stole cell phones and tablets from the store.

"The suspects ripped the devices from the security cables and ran out," officials said.

A nearly identical burglary occurred three weeks later on Sept. 7 at a Stevenson Ranch AT&T store in the 24900 block of Pico Canyon Road.

In that incident, only three suspect stole merchandise from the store.

"Detectives believe both incidents are related and could have been perpetrated by the same suspects," officials said.

Anyone with information should contact the LASD at (661)255-1121.
