Suspects Sought For Armed Bank Robbery In San Marino

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Two suspects are wanted for an armed robbery that occurred in San Marino on Thursday.

The robbery was reported around 2 p.m. on Thursday at One West Bank on 900 Huntington Drive, San Marino Police Detective Brian Wong said.

By the time officers arrived at the scene, the two male suspects had already fled.

An investigation revealed that one of the suspects pulled out a semi-automatic handgun and pointed it at a teller behind the counter.

Both suspects escaped in a red SUV, Detective Wong said, and stole an undisclosed amount of cash.

The first suspect was described as a black male in his 20's and stands around 5-foot-9 with a thin build.

The second suspect is also a black male in his 20's, with a heavy build. He was wearing a light-colored shirt and a baseball hat.

The FBI has joined the investigation, but anyone with information is urged to call the San Marino Police Department at (626) 300 - 0719.
