Suspected Thousand Oaks Flasher Arrested

THOUSAND OAKS (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Wednesday announced the arrest of a suspected flasher in Ventura County.

Detectives released a sketch Tuesday of a suspect wanted for several indecent exposure incidents between Jan. 10 and Jan. 17 in Thousand Oaks and Westlake Village.

On Tuesday night around 6 p.m., Ventura County Sheriff's detectives located 49-year-old Antonio Cerna while conducting surveillance at Russell Park. The suspect had been driving a similar vehicle to one described by a victim and was walking around the park when he was contacted by officials.

"Cerna initially denied any wrongdoing, but ultimately admitted to committing both of the recent indecent exposures in this neighborhood," Sgt. Robert Fleming said.

He was arrested and transported to East County Sheriff's Station where he admitted to committing several other lewd acts within the city of Thousand Oaks.
