Suspected Drunk Driver Arrested After Woodland Hills Pursuit

WOODLAND HILLS (CBSLA.com) — A suspected drunk driver was taken into custody Tuesday night after leading police on a short, high-speed chase in Woodland Hills.

The incident began after 9 p.m. around the Warner Center.

The suspect, who was in a 2000 white Cadillac, was initially wanted for reckless driving, Sky9's Kevin Takumi reported.

The motorist had several near-collisions, and sped through many red lights, as he drove on surface streets, Takumi said. The pursuit reached speeds up to 70 miles per hour.

Around 9:15 p.m., the suspect pulled over to the side of a residential street, where he was apprehended.
