Suspect Wounded In Lynwood DIS

LYNWOOD (CBSLA.com) — Investigators are on the scene of a deputy-involved shooting in Lynwood.

The shooting happened when deputies responded Sunday afternoon to a report of a person with a gun in the 3400 block of King Jr. Boulevard at California Avenue, a sergeant at the sheriff's Century Station told City News Service.

No deputies were injured.

The suspect was wounded and taken to a local hospital.

No further information was available at press time.
