Suspect Wanted For Abusing Elderly Man On Culver City Bus

CULVER CITY (CBSLA.com) — Police Thursday sought a suspect wanted for allegedly abusing an elderly man on a Culver City bus.

The incident happened around 1:45 p.m. on Nov. 22, authorities said.

The male suspect was riding the bus with a female friend when he began arguing with an elderly man.

"After arguing with the elderly man for a few seconds, the suspect stood up and repeatedly punched the man several times in the head and face," said officials.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect was described as a black man in his early 20s with a light complexion. He had a mustache or a goatee and wore camouflage shorts with a maroon sweatshirt at the time of the attack.

His female companion was described as a Hispanic woman in her early 20s with dark hair. She was also carrying a skateboard while on the bus.
