Suspect Sought After Man Shot And Killed In Marina Del Rey

MARINA DEL REY (CBSLA.com) — A man was shot and killed early on Sunday in Marina Del Rey, police said.

The shooting occurred around 3:30 a..m. in the 400 block of Washington Boulevard, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, Barraza said.

"I heard a lot of screaming, and it appeared to be like a homeless person with a raging scream," a witness said. "We have a lot of that around here, we have, unfortunately, a lot of homeless people, and it stopped, but then it started again. It was really quite intense."

Deputies on Sunday were searching for the suspect.
