Two Suspects Sought In Baldwin Park Homicide Investigation

BALDWIN PARK (CBSLA.com) — Police Tuesday were searching for two suspects wanted in a homicide investigation in the San Gabriel Valley.

Officials say a man walked out on his front lawn on Cosbey Street in Baldwin Park around 8:30 p.m. when shots were fired.

The 37-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.

Witnesses told authorities two suspects were seen running away on Earl Street, which prompted a barricade situation nearby.

"Investigators developed information that there were individuals in the home on Earl that may have a connection to the shooting on Cosbey," Lt. Dave Coleman said. "We wrote a search warrant. Executed a search warrant and detained several individuals, and now the investigators will begin searching that residence."

Two suspects remain on the loose.

No further details were released.
