Suspect Killed In Chino Hills Deputy-Involved Shooting

CHINO HILLS (CBSLA.com) — A man was fatally shot by deputies Friday morning after he was involved in a stabbing, carjacking and a possible residential break-in in San Bernardino County.

Deputies were originally called out around 5:30 a.m. to the 3900 block of Hickory Lane in Chino Hills on a report of a stabbing.

The unidentified suspect fled the scene on foot and carjacked a van, the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department said.

After abandoning the van, the suspect entered a home in the 5400 block of Brushwood Court.

He died at the scene.
