Suspect In Yorba Linda Murder Identified

YORBA LINDA (CBSLA.com) — Police have identified a man suspected of murdering a woman in Yorba Linda, but are still working to identify her and if there was some sort of relationship between the two.

Larry Soo Shin, 35, was arrested Tuesday night after a black woman's body was found on the side of the roadway on Live Oak Lane in Yorba Linda at about 5:40 a.m., authorities said.

The woman, who appeared to be in her 20s, died from multiple stab wounds to the upper body, according to an autopsy completed Wednesday. Orange County sheriff's investigators say the attack happened at or near where the body was found.

Investigators are still working to identify the woman and as a result, have not yet determined the relationship, if any, between Shin and the victim, authorities said.
