Suspect In Hemet Double Murder Arrested In Tijuana

HEMET (CBSLA.com) — A suspect in a double murder investigation is in custody Thursday after being detained by Tijuana police.

Elisha Samson Chiles, 37, was arrested at about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday by Tijuana police officers, and turned over to Hemet police investigators at the border, officials said.

Chiles was booked on two counts of murder and is being held on $1 million bail.

Two women were found dead inside a home in the 1200 block of South Buena Vista Street just before 5 a.m. Wednesday. The identities of the victims were withheld pending family notification, and Hemet police investigators say the investigation is ongoing.
