Officers Shoot, Kill Armed Man Suspected Of Firing Shots In Wilmington Trailer Park

WILMINGTON (CBSLA) — Police shot and killed a man in Wilmington after they said the armed man failed to comply with their demands.
The shooting happened Monday evening when police arrived at the scene in the 1000 block of South Figueroa for a call of shots fired.
When officers arrived, they said they found an armed man walking around the trailer park. Police said the man failed to comply and that was when officers fatally shot him.
One witness, who said she did not want to be identified, said she was having dinner with her family when she heard five or six shots.
No officers were injured in the shooting.
The investigation is ongoing.
