Suspect Detained In Fatal Shooting In Thousand Oaks
THOUSAND OAKS (CBSLA) – A suspect has been taken into custody in connection with a fatal shooting in a Thousand Oaks neighborhood Monday morning.
The shooting occurred at around 7 a.m. in the 2300 block of Fountain Crest Lane, according to the Ventura County Sheriff's Office.
The victim's name was not released.
A suspect was detained and a handgun was recovered, the sheriff's office said.
There was no immediate word on a motive in the killing or the suspect's relationship to the victim.
