Armed Suspect Barricaded In Inglewood Residence Surrenders To Police

INGLEWOOD (CBSLA.com) — An armed suspect that barricaded himself in a residence Saturday has safely surrendered to officers.

According to the Inglewood Police Department, officers followed the suspect from a traffic stop around 2:00 a.m. to a home located at Arbor Vitae Street and Oak Street.

The man reportedly fled from a traffic stop while carrying a gun and held off police officers for several hours.

No evacuations were reported for residents in the immediate area.

The suspect peacefully surrendered to officers just before 8:00 a.m.
