Survivor In South LA Triple Homicide Now Charged With Murder

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com)  —  Authorities have arrested a suspect in a car-to-car shooting that left three people dead.

Police said two of the three dead were in a car that the 25-year-old suspect was also riding in.

The shootings occurred around 10:05 p.m. Friday in the 8600 block of South Figueroa Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Four people -- two males and two females -- were in a silver Toyota Camry parked on the east curb of Figueroa, said Sgt. Shannon Hale of the LAPD's Southeast Station.

A red Nissan Altima with two people inside pulled up and the passenger opened fire, striking and killing a man and a woman in the back seat of the Toyota, Hale said.

Anthony Cudger, who was allegedly in the front passenger seat of the Toyota, returned fire and fatally struck the gunman in the Nissan, Hale said.

After the shots were fired, the Nissan's driver took the gravely wounded passenger -- identified by the coroner's office as 33-year-old Trevor Andre Williams -- to a fire station at Main and 108th streets to seek help, she said. Police said he died in the car outside the station.

Cudger was arrested at 4 a.m. Saturday and is being held in lieu of $1 million bail, according to  jail records. Hale said Cudger suffered a gunshot wound to the shoulder, but was treated at a hospital and released prior to being taken into custody.

The deceased in the Toyota were identified by the coroner's office as Aveion Curtis Bolden, 20, and Jacinta Walker, 18. Bolden and Walker were both declared dead at the scene.
