Super Bowl Commercials A Big Hit With Fans At Pasadena Bar

PASADENA (CBSLA.com) — Super Bowl fans gathered in Pasadena Sunday to watch the big game and the pricey commercials.

"I'm not a Broncos fan. I'm not a Panthers fan. I'm strictly here for the commercials. That's it," said David Ruiz, a patron.

The commercials gave Ruiz and others a lot of reasons to cheer, though.

The Doritos commercial featuring an unborn baby reaching for a chip during an ultrasound was an attention-getter for those watching at Barney's Beanery and was a favorite.

"I'm about to have a baby so it was really funny how the baby came out as soon as they threw out the Dorito," said Jazmin Hubbard.

Other attention grabbers included the Hyundai spot featuring Ryan Reynolds and the Heinz commercial featuring a wiener dog.
