Sugar Thrown On Adam Levine Outside Hollywood Studio, Reports Say

HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — Sugar was apparently thrown on singer-songwriter Adam Levine in Hollywood on Wednesday evening, according to multiple published reports.

Celebrity website TMZ.com, among other sites, reported that the incident unfolded near the Hollywood studios where "Jimmy Kimmel Live" tapes.

TMZ said Levine was attacked while greeting fans.

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to CBS2 that someone was attacked with sugar about 7:30 p.m.

Police also said an arrest on an assault charge has been made but didn't provide further details.
