Students At UC Riverside Get Some Pet Therapy As They Cram For Exams

RIVERSIDE (CBSLA.com) — Students at UC Riverside got a bit of pet therapy this week as they crammed for final exams.

The Inland Empire Pet Partners, which is a service of the Humane Society of San Bernardino Valley, brought in certified therapy dogs to offer students a little stress relief.

As part of a program called "Therapy Fluffies," the dogs visit campus twice a semester during midterm and finals week.

"I was just walking by and then I saw these four cute little dogs. I thought I should probably stop by...and I did. It really helped. It helped a lot," student Victoria Vera said.
