No bomb threat to Fillmore High School after probe leads to students being relocated, police say

Police said there was no bomb threat to Fillmore High School on Tuesday after a call reporting a bomb at the campus led to an investigation and a decision to move students away from the campus.

The school decided to take the precaution of relocating students after the report was made, the Fillmore Police Department told CBS News Los Angeles just after 1 p.m. Later in the afternoon, around 2:30 p.m., police said investigators determined there was no threat.

Earlier, police said authorities were not sure how credible the threat was but certain measures were being taken for the safety of students. Six police patrol cars responded to the Ventura County high school as bomb squad investigators were sent to the scene.
