Stroke Survivor, 43, Goes Missing From East LA Home

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Sheriff's detectives are asking for the public's help in finding a 43-year-old East Los Angeles man who has been missing since Monday.

Adrian John Cortez was last seen at his home on South Eastman Avenue around noon.

Cortez suffered a stroke, which resulted in diminished mental capacity, partial paralysis of both arms and him walking with a limp.

He also suffers from seizures and high blood pressure.

Cortez was described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He has a 2 to 3-inch scar on his chin.  He was wearing a red zippered jacket, gray thermal shirt, black jeans and slippers.
