String Quartet In Wales Performs To Drivers Stuck In Traffic

When a runaway horse caused traffic to come to a standstill on a highway in Wales some motorists got out of their car and literally orchestrated a distraction for those stuck waiting.

A string quartet assembled their instruments on the side of the road and held an impromptu concert for drivers stranded on the M5 motorway near Devon.

The gesture struck a chord with drivers, a smile coming to their faces as the musicians played a "wonderful rendition of Johann Pachelbel's Canon in D Major," according to Helen Delingpole, who shot this video and posted it on YouTube.

Now if only this group would come play for ‪‎Los Angeles‬ drivers stuck in the 405 Freeway's daily gridlock.
