The comic legend died on Sept. 4, days after going into cardiac and respiratory arrest during a minor and routine endoscopy at a private clinic in New York. Rivers was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital, where she was placed in a medically-induced coma and on life support. Days later, she died at the age of 81.
The cause of death remains under investigation, officials have said.
