Trailer Drops For 'Star Wars' Spinoff Film 'Rogue One'
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — It's a big week for "Star Wars" fans – not only was "The Force Awakens" released on DVD and Blu-Ray, but the trailer for another Star Wars movie dropped early Thursday morning.
The teaser trailer was released overnight for "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story", which takes place in the Star Wars universe before the first film "Star Wars: A New Hope," according to Disney.
Amid the excitement over a new "Star Wars" film, a few fans have poked fun at the difficulty some are having with the title.
By the time Rogue One comes out in December, we may have figured out how to type Rogue One without accidentally typing Rouge One first.

Other fans joked about the franchise's tendency to release films in no discernible order.
Will I be able to follow Rogue One if I haven't seen Rogue Four, Five and Six?

However, the trailer's buzz was by far the loudest in discussions about the casting. The focus of this trailer is Felicity Jones' Jyn Erso, who declares, "This is a rebellion, isn't it? I rebel." The film's diverse cast also includes Oscar winner Forest Whitaker, Hong Kong action star Donnie Yen, and "Hannibal" actor Mads Mikkelson, who was not seen in the trailer.
"Rogue One" is set for release in December.
