'Stand Up For Skateparks' Benefit Returns To Beverly Hills

STUDIO CITY (KCAL9) — Kim Novik, the development director for the Tony Hawk Foundation, appeared on KCAL9 News on Saturday morning to discuss an upcoming charity event.

The Stand Up For Skateparks benefit will be held from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday at the Green Acres Estate in Beverly Hills.

Proceeds from the annual event, which is now in its eleventh year, will benefit the Tony Hawk Foundation.

The non-profit organization was founded by Hawk in 2002, and promotes and provides technical assistance and funds for high-quality public skateparks in low-income areas nationwide.
