Speed, Rain To Blame For 210 Freeway Big Rig Crash

PASADENA (CBSLA.com) — Speed and rain were factors in a big rig crash that took place at the 210 Freeway interchange early Tuesday morning.

The accident happened just after 1 a.m. in Pasadena, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The driver lost control of the truck, which went down an embankment, landing on the other side of the freeway.

He suffered minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital as a precaution.

Sig Alerts were issued for both the westbound 210 transition lanes and the eastbound 134 Freeway transition lanes to the westbound 210.

The freeway was reopened just before 6 a.m.
