Sparks Fly As Stolen Car Suspect Leads Deputies On Dangerous Pursuit

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A stolen car suspect led Los Angeles sheriff's deputies on a wild pursuit Saturday night.

The female driver, often driving on the wrong side of the road, collided with a vehicle in an intersection and spun out, but kept going.  After the collision, the vehicle's damage caused sparks to fly as the driver managed to keep going. Shortly after the crash, the driver had a second 360-degree spin-out luckily with no traffic nearby.

The chase started in Downtown L.A. around 9:45 p.m. and went though the Commerce, Alhambra and Montebello areas at high speeds and ended in South Pasadena.

After a short standoff, the woman was taken into custody on Monterey Road in South Pasadena.
