SoCal Business Makes 1-Pound Doughnut Stuffed With Pop Tart

FOUNTAIN VALLEY (CBSLA.com) — A Southern California business has created a 1-pound treat called the Big Poppa-Tart Donut.

The creation from the Donut Bar in Fountain Valley includes a doughnut stuffed with a Pop Tart, which is then glazed with cake batter, and topped with sprinkles and flavoring.

"Oh, my God! It tastes like heaven! It's unbelievable," said Andrew Aggins, a customer.

Santiago Campa, the owner of the Donut Bar, says the store made 100 of the treats Thursday morning in Orange County and sold them quickly.

"As we opened up our doors, there was a line of people wanting them," he said.

The doughnut, priced at $4, is also being offered at the store's San Diego location.
