Small aircraft goes down at Brackett Field Airport in La Verne
A small aircraft went down at Brackett Field Airport in La Verne Saturday, according to firefighters.
The La Verne Fire Department tweeted about the incident around 10 a.m.
Firefighters reported that the pilot suffered minor injuries from the crash, though was able to remove himself from the wreckage before they arrived.
The airport temporarily closed down to all air traffic during the investigation.
"It had nothing to do with taking off or landing," a La Verne Fire Department battalion chief said. "He actually had landed and was taxiing towards his hangar when he turned a little tight and rolled it."
