Small Fire Damages Church In Atwater Village

ATWATER VILLAGE (CBSLA.com) — A small fire damaged a church Saturday in the Atwater Village area of Los Angeles.

Thirty firefighters were dispatched at 6:20 a.m. to the L.A. Nam Seoul Grace Church, located at 3525 Glenhurst Avenue, according to the L.A. City Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey.

It took them 17 minutes to put the flames out.

No injuries were reported.

Investigators are trying to determine how the fire ignited.

Damages to the church have not yet been estimated.
