Small Brush Fire Snarls Traffic Along 101 Freeway In Calabasas

CALABASAS (CBSLA.com) — A small brush fire slowed traffic Friday along a busy freeway in Calabasas.

The roughly five-acre fire was seen burning along the northbound Ventura (101) Freeway near Parkway Calabasas in the Calabasas area,
according to the county fire department.

Two right lanes were closed on the 101 Freeway and traffic was reportedly jammed from Topanga Canyon Boulevard.

Crews reported a knockdown around 11:41 a.m., according to county fire officials.
