Small Brush Fire Reported In Devore Near 15 Freeway

DEVORE (CBSLA.com)  —  A small brush fire between 5-10 acres has been reported in Devore Saturday evening.

The fire is burning at Kenwood and Blue Cut, near where the 15 and 215 Freeway meet, officials said.

Officials have called for a full response and aircraft that can operate at night, according to the U.S. Forest Service.

The fire, nicknamed the Ken fire, is described by authorities as burning with a moderate rate of speed.

Multiple agencies have been called to help attack the blaze.

Two northbound lanes of the 15 have reportedly been closed.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
