Small Brush Fire Briefly Threatens Homes In Hollywood Hills

HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — A small brush fire Monday blackened about an acre and a half close to several homes in the Hollywood Hills before it was extinguished by firefighters.

The blaze was reported about 11:35 a.m. in the 1700 block of Monte Cielo Court and put out about 45 minutes later, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

There was no immediate word on the cause of the fire.
