Skirball Fire: Evacuations and Closures

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) – The Skirball Fire has burned at least 475 acres in the Sepulveda Pass area of Los Angeles as of Thursday. It is five percent contained. Eleven homes have been damaged and four destroyed, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. Here is the latest road closure, school closure and evacuation information.

Mandatory Evacuations:

-- All locations within these boundaries: East of the 405 Freeway, south of Mulholland Drive, west of Roscomare Road and North of Sunset Boulevard.

Evacuation Advisory West Of The 405 Freeway:

-- Be prepared to evacuate in the areas west of the 405 Freeway between Mulholland to the north, Sunset Boulevard to the south and Mandeville Canyon Road to the west.

Emergency Shelters:

-- Delano Recreation Center, 15100 Erwin St., Van Nuys.
-- Balboa Recreation Center, 17015 Burbank Blvd., Van Nuys.
-- Sherman Oaks Recreation Center, 14201 Huston St., Sherman Oaks.
-- Westwood Recreation Center, 1350 Sepulveda Blvd., Westwood.

Other Closures:

-- Getty Center remains closed Thursday.

School Closures:

-- All Los Angeles Unified schools in the San Fernando Valley and 17 schools the Bel Air area are closed Thursday and Friday.
