Sketch Of Man Wanted In Fatal South Gate Shooting Released

SOUTH GATE (CBSLA.com) — A composite drawing of a man wanted in a fatal shooting at a South Gate bus stop was circulated by authorities Thursday.

The shooting happened at about 11 p.m. April 13 at California and Michigan avenues, according to Los Angeles County sheriff's officials.

The coroner's office says Isaiah Equihua, 22, died at a hospital the following day.

The suspect was described as Hispanic, about 20 to 23 years old, with dark eyes and short dark hair.

Sheriff's homicide detectives are assisting South Gate police in the investigation.
