LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) — A SigAlert was issued Monday for the northbound lanes of the San Diego (405) Freeway after a car became stuck between a tanker truck in Long Beach.

The crash was first reported at 6:29 a.m. after a black Toyota Matrix became stuck under a diesel tanker truck on the 405 north to the northbound Long Beach (710) Freeway connector, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The right lane and the on-ramp lanes were blocked by the crash.

The driver of the Matrix was not injured, but authorities called for assistance to clean up a 100-foot diesel fuel spill and to transfer the remainder of the fuel to another tanker truck.

The lanes were reopened by noon, CHP officials said.
