El Monte Shuttle Driver, 58, Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Dependent Woman

EL MONTE (CBSLA.com)  — Police in El Monte arrested a 58-year-old shuttle driver on suspicion that he sexually assaulted a 30-year-old dependent female.

Officials say Antelmo Medina of El Monte shuttled the victim to and from the Dream House located in the 11400 block of Garvey Avenue.

The Dream House is a state licensed dependent adult day care operation.

Police said after an investigation they arrested Medina on a sexual battery charge.

Officials said the sexual assault took place when Medina was driving the victim back to her residence.

Police said Medina was also employed at the Dream House as a physical therapist. Authorities said Medina was employed by the location for the past eight months.

The investigation is ongoing.
