Police Investigate 3 Separate Drive-By Shooting Incidents In Riverside

RIVERSIDE (CBSLA.com) — Police Monday investigated three separate shooting incidents that took place overnight in Riverside.

The first shooting was reported around 8:21 p.m. Sunday in the 4700 block of Park Avenue.

According to police, a dark colored vehicle drove by and fired two rounds and two people who were standing outside of a residence.

Both victims were transported to a hospital. At this time, they remain listed in stable condition.

A second shooting took place about a half-hour later in the area of Jurupa Avenue and Correll Street.

A preliminary investigation revealed a dark colored vehicle drove by and shot a person who was standing on the street near the intersection.

The victim was transported to a hospital by his friend where he was listed in critical, but stable condition.

A third shooting occurred just after 11 p.m. in the 6400 block of Chadbourne Avenue.

A victim was found by police lying on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound in the abdomen.

The victim was transported to a hospital, and is reported to be in stable condition.

The suspects were last seen driving away from the scene in a white SUV.

No suspect descriptions were provided.

Police do not believe the shootings are related to each other.
